SCHYLLER was established in the second half of the 20th century.
It was the 1964 when the production of watertight devices for electrical installation, connecting blocks, glass ceiling bowls, connection and control aluminum devices was the main core business for the following 15 years.
Keeping the pass with technological innovation and development, the brick and mortar aluminum item production system was converted into the injection moulded plastic one, increasing its positive trend in gaining market share. This fact, together with further
remarkable investments and our continuous diligence and research, determined a constant and considerable increase of the overall company’s sales figures in the international scenario which SCHYLLER is present at, in more than 40 countries.

SCHYLLER was the first company, in Italy, to distribute CEE 17 (today IEC 60309) products which have been gradually developed by its own manufacturing facilities.
Today SCHYLLER may be considered one of the main specialists for industrial plugs and sockets in the world, offering the best performing products in conformity to IEC 60309 standards.
SCHYLLER’s products are in conformity with the IEC and EN standards from 25 years. The firm obtained the certification from its Enterprise Quality System, according to UNI EN ISO 9001:2000, with certificate N.9105 SCHY, issued on 10-31-96. Since then, a constant and special care is put on assuring the Total Quality and an exhaustive customer service, a must for a company to keep on being on the head line. Therefore, product quality being the assumption, the cost/price rate must be carefully and constantly checked. The company’s policy is oriented to a gradual progressive growth, at first on the European market and later on the World’s. |
Since 1964, competition has grown stronger and harder. This has driven the company to boost high automation production technology and market analysis and, even more, competitor’s analysis, keeping an eye on the E-commerce; it could cut down costs by avoiding middlemen and traditional channels so as to pass some of these savings to the customers, along with the convenience of providing easy access to products and services.
SCHYLLER’s production system, which is composed of 13 presses, 4 automatic assembling lines and 32 manual assembling workstations, guarantees the daily production and distribution of more than 20.000 pieces of different shapes and types, corresponding to more than 5.000 different items, all over the world.
